On turning 28

Everything is not quite in the same place as it used to be... thanks gravity :)
There are "what if's" but that's just part of life.
But life is good...
I know where I am, I have friends who love me for me... and for that I am thankful.

My birthday morning has so far included new earrings, new perfume and surprise surprise...
a new Gorilla Pod...
my man is too good ;)

Off to eat mini cupcakes I made for workmates...

UPDATE: So the whole family came around for chinese last night... I took photos and drank bubbles with my mama... a good night...

A happy weekend...

consists of:

Spending friday night with friends, eating too much, b*tchin about the really bad service but having a blast despite it...
Meeting with mama for a girlie shopping day on saturday, buying shoes and handbags...
Introducing mama to Starbucks and explaining what hi top All Stars are, enjoying an epic Double Choc Chip Frappuccino...
Getting a FREE bottle of Baileys for signing up to the Panel...
Almost completing the Great Study Tidy of 07-08 and moving the record player to the scrappy side of the room, then throwin on some Van Halen on vinyl...
Scrappin away the rest of sunday content in the knowledge that in 3 days the broadband modem will be here...

Few love to hear the sins they love to act

It's my B-Day next week so I am making sure that I draw it out as much as possible.. hee hee.

So last night we went to see Shakespeares Pericles at the Hamilton Gardens with my mateys Hayley and Vince. Considering I'd never even heard of it before I was so stoked that it was SO GOOD!

...never...


So anyway I figure that if it takes only 5 minutes for a scrap mag to fire me back a "Thanks but no thanks" email I'd rather just share it with my friends instead ;)

So uber rad thing happened today...

Was getting ready to head out to my dadas 60th birthday when I get a text from my friend Lindi in Utah... I call her and she is WIGGIN OUT!

She is at an ice hockey game (Utah vs. Alaska - I find that funny, not really sure why) and has bumped into Lisa Bearnson - the founder of the worlds best scrapping magazine, Creating Keepsakes. She says she talked to her and got a photo and Lisa asked her to email her some layouts etc etc...

...and next thing I know she is running back to Lisa and passing her the phone!
So there I am talking away to Lisa Bearnson. Wow. Now non scrappers will SO not get it but it's so crazy and wicked if you really think about it.

So this is my matey Lindi with Lisa... lucky tart ;)
